Bio

While working for General Motors in Wentzville Missouri, inspired by the local legendary godfather of Rock'n Roll (Chuck Berry), Bobby started producing in 1985. His 1st work to be played on an 100,000 watt radio station (KSHE 95) came in January of 1986 via a Budweiser commercial contest that used his parody of "Bad To The Bone" to create the " b,b,b,Bud Man ". One of the biggest advertising campaigns ever (Rick Derringer played on the commercial). It aired globally for over 7 years. Later that year he was dubbed a Stun Soloist on guitar by Jim Marshall (creator of Marshall Amps). The following year (1987) he produced his band, The Lace Entourage' Band, and thanks to Drew Johnson landed on the same radio station. Inspiring Real Rock Radio station KSHE 95 in St.Louis to start a local weekly radio program called "Sweetmeats Local Limelight". Named after the stations pig mascot - Sweetmeat. Which was the launch point for Wilco & Local H.
In 1992 he found himself stealing the show on a local privately owned cable stations music show, and was now being called Metal Bob (see videos page). When Grunge hit, he spent the next few years playing note for note cover songs in various local bands.
While recording/producing Lace 2 in 1998, Bobby was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2002, he concentrated on his recovery from being confined to an electric wheelchair and his daily battle against the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. He continued releasing new solo music annually from 2003 thru 2005.
In 2006 he produced an Acoustic/Vocal demo for HarterAttack, then made his Honestly record. The rest, is on the Merchandise, Music and Resume' and pages..,
